HR/Talent Coordinator Beth Kane began her tenure at CoreLink after a career in teaching. “I was looking for a change. I didn’t have any experience or background in human resources, but CoreLink gave me an awesome opportunity to learn and grow.”
That learning opportunity has served as a common thread of employment at CoreLink Administrative Solutions. Kane’s experience was the culmination of CoreLink’s desire to invest in its people, while also entertaining new voices into its day-to-day structure. “I am really proud of what I accomplished learning about HR, which included job shadowing and training with awesome people.”
Kane joined CoreLink after the company’s journey had already shifted towards closing. But, that new chapter offered unique opportunities to continue building teams with qualified members while nurturing development and growth in the people already filling important roles. Beyond just coordinating the hiring and onboarding processes, Kane, too, was able to grow the scope of her skill sets.
Just over a year after serving in her human resources role at CoreLink, Kane found an opportunity at Tech Mahindra in a similar role. One of the things she was most excited about was taking the transparency CoreLink provided to its employees into her next role. “I think being open with people helps them feel included and is absolutely important in building trust. I also want to bring the culture to my new place. I hope to create groups like the Wellness Committee and Core Community, along with rewarding employees in unique ways. I want to make sure the employee experience is at the forefront of our business goals.”
In reflecting on her journey, Kane said, “CoreLink taught me a lot of life lessons and brought out a lot of confidence I didn’t have. I am excited to take that with me in my future adventures.”
